چکیده
− A low-voltage CMOS four-quadrant analogue multiplier using two NMOS operated in the triode region with modified bi-directional regulated cascade (RGC) structure is presented. The circuit can operate from a supply voltage of ±1.5V. For a differential input voltage range up to ±0.8V, this circuit has kept nonlinearity below 0.9% and total harmonic distortion less than 1%. The −3dB bandwidth of this multiplier is 15MHz. The chip was fabricated in Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (TSMC) 0.8μm Single-Poly-DoubleMetal (SPDM) N-well process. The chip dissipates 24.4mW and occupies 251x653μm active area.

This paper presents, a new current mode four-quadrant CMOS analog multiplier/divider based on dual translinear loops. Compared with the previous works this circuit has a simpler structure resulting in lower power consumption and higher frequency response. Simulation results, performed using HSPICE with 0.25um technology, confirm performance of the proposed circuit.
متن کاملAn analog CMOS four quadrant current-mode multiplier for low power artificial neural networks implementation
A CMOS four-quadrant analog multiplier circuit for neural networks integrated circuit implementation is presented. By applying differential balanced current mode signals (both for the input, output and weight signals) the multiplication function is easily implemented through two translinear loops. The multiplier exhibits low power consumption (the dc current is 250 nA under a differential power...
